Version: 1.0
1. Purpose of this License
These License & Intellectual Property Terms govern your rights to access and use digital products supplied by Caden Holt, including Framer website templates, components, design systems, downloadable assets, documentation and related digital materials.
This License applies to the Product identified in the applicable Product Page, checkout, order confirmation or other purchase record.
The Product is licensed, not sold.
Your purchase gives you the limited rights expressly granted by this License. It does not transfer ownership of the Product, its underlying intellectual property, source materials or any other rights that are not expressly granted.
If you purchase a Product through a third-party marketplace or Merchant of Record, the applicable transaction terms of that platform also apply. Where the Product is sold through the Framer Community or Marketplace, the applicable Framer Community Terms and Framer Terms of Service apply in addition to this License.
2. Licensor and Product Identity
The Product is supplied by:
Caden Holt
the professional and trading identity of APOSKITIS FILIPPOS, a sole proprietor established in Greece.
G.E.M.I.: 196127203000
Website: https://cadenholt.com
Support: [email protected]
For purposes of this License, "Caden Holt," "we," "us" and "our" refer to the legal proprietor identified above.
The Product may be distributed through Caden Holt's website, the Framer Community, Framer Marketplace or another authorised sales channel.
3. Definitions
3.1 "Product"
Means the specific digital product purchased by the Licensee, including the version, files, components, layouts, documentation and other materials expressly included with that product.
3.2 "Template"
Means a pre-designed, editable website or page system supplied for use within Framer, including its pages, sections, styles, components, CMS structure, interactions and other included elements.
3.3 "Licensed Materials"
Means the portions of the Product for which Caden Holt owns or controls sufficient rights to grant the license described in this document.
3.4 "Third-Party Materials"
Means fonts, images, icons, illustrations, code, components, plugins, software, media, libraries, services or other materials created or owned by a third party and included in, linked from, or required by the Product.
3.5 "Framer Materials"
Means the Framer platform, Framer software, Community, Marketplace, native Framer components, Framer documentation, Framer branding, Framer intellectual property and other materials controlled by Framer.
3.6 "Preview Materials"
Means images, videos, demonstrations, copy, photographs, brand assets, mockups, examples and other materials used to present or demonstrate the Product publicly but which are not expressly included in the purchased Product.
3.7 "Licensee"
Means the individual or legal entity identified as the purchaser in the applicable transaction.
3.8 "Permitted Project"
Means one end product, website or client project created using the Product in accordance with this License.
3.9 "End Product"
Means the substantially completed website or digital experience created by the Licensee using the Product, rather than the Product itself.
4. Grant of License
Subject to:
successful payment;
continued compliance with this License;
compliance with applicable law;
compliance with applicable Framer terms; and
compliance with any applicable third-party license terms,
Caden Holt grants the Licensee a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable commercial license to use the Product solely to create and operate one Permitted Project.
This is a single-use license.
Unless the Product Page expressly states otherwise, one purchase corresponds to:
one Product → one Permitted Project → one resulting End Product.
The license does not grant an unlimited right to use the Product across multiple websites, domains, brands, businesses, clients, campaigns, products or projects.
The single-use structure is intentionally consistent with Framer's current paid Creator Content license, which permits use of paid content for one end product or project and prohibits use in more than one project or client engagement.
5. What the License Permits
Subject to the restrictions in this License, you may:
access the purchased Product;
copy or remix the Product into your own Framer workspace using the authorised delivery mechanism;
edit the Product;
customise layouts;
modify text;
replace images;
change colours;
modify typography;
modify navigation;
modify CMS content;
modify components;
adapt the visual presentation;
add your own content;
remove sections;
add new sections;
modify animations;
modify interactions;
connect your own domain;
publish the resulting End Product;
use the resulting End Product for commercial or non-commercial purposes;
use the resulting End Product for your own business;
where permitted below, create one End Product for one client.
These rights exist solely for the Permitted Project.
They do not grant ownership of the underlying Product.
6. One Project Rule
The Product may be used for one Permitted Project only.
A separate website, separate business, separate client, separate brand, separate domain or substantially separate commercial implementation is a separate project unless it forms part of the same clearly identifiable End Product.
Examples:
Permitted
You purchase a template and use it to create:
examplecompany.com
That is one Permitted Project.
Permitted
You purchase a template and substantially customise it to create one website for your own company.
That is one Permitted Project.
Permitted, where used for one client
You are a designer or developer and use the Product to create one website for one client, provided the Product itself is not separately distributed and the client receives only the resulting End Product.
Not permitted
You purchase one license and use it to build:
your personal website;
your company website;
a client's website;
a second client's website.
That would constitute multiple projects.
Not permitted
You purchase one license and create multiple separate websites for different companies using the same Product.
Not permitted
You create multiple commercial websites from the Product and treat them as one project merely because the underlying template remains technically similar.
The relevant question is the actual use of the Product, not the degree to which the resulting websites have been modified.
7. Client Projects
A Licensee may use the Product to create one End Product for one client where the Product Page and applicable marketplace rules permit client use.
In such a case:
the Licensee remains responsible for compliance with this License;
the client may receive ownership or control of the completed End Product where appropriate;
the client may use the completed End Product for its ordinary business purposes;
the client does not receive a separate license to the original Product as a reusable template;
the Licensee may not provide the original remix link, source package or standalone Product to the client for independent reuse;
the client may not extract and reuse the Product as a template for another project.
The transfer of a completed End Product does not transfer ownership of the Product itself.
Where a Framer project is transferred to a client, the transfer must remain within the single Permitted Project and must not be used to facilitate further redistribution or reuse of the Product.
Framer currently provides a native Project Transfer mechanism for moving ownership of a completed Framer project to another user.
8. Individual and Business Licensees
A Product license may be purchased by:
an individual;
a sole proprietor;
a company;
another legally recognised organisation,
subject to the checkout and applicable Product terms.
Where a legal entity purchases the Product, the license belongs to that entity and may be used by its employees or contractors solely to create and maintain the one Permitted Project.
Such employees or contractors do not receive independent rights to use, redistribute, resell or exploit the Product.
The Licensee remains responsible for ensuring that anyone granted access for the Permitted Project complies with this License.
9. Limited Internal Access
A Licensee may provide access to Licensed Materials to a developer, designer, contractor or other professional who needs access strictly to create or maintain the Permitted Project.
Such access must be:
necessary for the Permitted Project;
limited to the scope required;
subject to confidentiality where appropriate;
subject to restrictions at least as protective as those contained in this License.
The third party may not:
keep the Product for unrelated future work;
reuse the Product elsewhere;
share the Product;
create a competing template;
redistribute the Product;
retain independent rights to the Product.
The Licensee remains responsible for any unauthorised use by persons to whom it provides access.
10. No Transfer of the Product
Except for a permitted transfer of a completed End Product as described in Section 7, the License is personal to the Licensee and may not be sold, assigned, transferred, sublicensed or otherwise made available to another person or entity.
You may not:
sell your Product license;
give your license to another business;
transfer the original Product to another designer;
give another person your remix link for their own project;
publish the Product in a shared resource library;
place the Product in an agency-wide template repository for unrestricted reuse;
include the Product in another person's template collection.
A change of ownership, sale or restructuring of a business does not automatically transfer the Product License.
Any transfer not expressly permitted by this License requires prior written approval from Caden Holt.
11. No Redistribution
You must not redistribute the Product in whole or in substantial part.
This includes redistribution through:
websites;
marketplaces;
repositories;
file-sharing platforms;
community libraries;
template libraries;
cloud storage shared with unauthorised users;
downloadable bundles;
design-resource websites;
private groups;
public repositories;
social-media attachments;
torrent or peer-to-peer services.
You must not make the Product available as a downloadable or remixable resource to someone who has not independently obtained the necessary rights.
Framer's current paid Creator Content license similarly prohibits reselling, redistributing, sublicensing, sharing, publishing or otherwise making Licensed Content available to third parties.
12. No Resale as a Template
You may not resell the Product itself.
You may not sell:
the template;
substantially the same template;
a lightly modified version;
extracted sections;
extracted components;
template files;
remix links;
design-system files;
template documentation;
as a competing or standalone digital product.
You may sell the completed End Product as part of a legitimate website, design or digital implementation project where this License expressly permits such client use.
The distinction is:
You may sell the result. You may not resell the tool used to create the result.
13. No Competing Products
You may not use the Product to create or offer a competing:
Framer template;
website template;
component pack;
UI kit;
design system;
template library;
theme;
marketplace asset;
downloadable website starter;
substantially similar digital design product.
This restriction applies whether the competing product is sold:
directly;
through a marketplace;
through a subscription;
through a membership;
as a free download;
as a lead magnet;
as a bundle;
or through another distribution mechanism.
This provision does not prevent you from using ordinary design principles, techniques, skills, methods, ideas or general knowledge you independently acquire while using the Product.
Framer's current paid-content license expressly prohibits use of paid Creator Content to create or offer competing templates, themes, components, design systems or marketplace assets.
14. No Extraction of Reusable Assets
You may modify the Product for the Permitted Project.
You may not extract its components, sections, design systems, illustrations, code, interactions or other substantive materials for independent reuse outside the Permitted Project.
For example, you may not:
extract a navigation component and sell it separately;
copy the design system into a second site;
turn included components into a component library;
convert the template into a new marketplace product;
reuse the same component package across several client projects;
publish the underlying source files.
The fact that a component can technically be copied does not create a license to do so.
15. Original Caden Holt Materials
To the extent Caden Holt owns intellectual-property rights in the Product, those rights remain with Caden Holt.
These may include:
original interface designs;
original layouts;
original design systems;
original visual concepts;
original components;
original code;
original animations;
original interactions;
original documentation;
original graphics;
original written material;
original information architecture;
original structure and arrangement.
Your license grants permission to use these materials within the Permitted Project.
It does not transfer ownership of them.
16. Product Components
The Product may contain custom components created by Caden Holt.
These components may be:
visually editable;
technically editable;
reusable within the Permitted Project;
modified to suit the Buyer's implementation.
The Licensee may modify such components as necessary for the Permitted Project.
The Licensee may not separately:
sell them;
redistribute them;
publish them as standalone components;
license them to another party;
include them in another template;
submit them as an independent marketplace product;
use them to create a competing component library.
17. Third-Party Components
The Product may also contain components, code or other materials that were created by third parties and made available under licenses or permissions that allow their use within the Product.
The rights to those Third-Party Materials are not owned by Caden Holt merely because they appear inside the Product.
Where Third-Party Materials are included:
their original owner retains ownership;
their own applicable license may impose additional conditions;
this License does not override their applicable terms;
the Licensee receives only the rights available under the applicable third-party license;
the Licensee must comply with those terms.
Where a Third-Party Material is distributed subject to a separate license, that separate license governs the Licensee's use of that material to the extent of any conflict.
This approach is required in part because Framer's current Community Terms require creators to maintain the necessary licences, permissions and rights for Creator Content and require creator-provided end-user licenses to remain consistent with Framer's Community Terms.
18. Framer Community Materials
Some Products may use components, plugins, vectors, code or other materials made available through the Framer Community.
Framer distinguishes between:
Framer's own Platform;
Creator Content;
Non-Framer Resources;
third-party Community materials.
Framer's current Terms state that Non-Framer Resources are owned by the persons or entities who create them.
Accordingly:
Caden Holt does not transfer ownership of Framer-owned or third-party materials to the Licensee.
The Licensee must independently comply with the terms that apply to those materials.
The relevant Framer rules are available at:
These documents may be updated by Framer from time to time and the Licensee is responsible for complying with the versions applicable to its use of the Framer platform.
Framer's current Community Terms expressly incorporate its Terms of Service, Privacy Statement, Acceptable Use Policy and platform-specific rules into the Community framework.
19. Compliance with Framer's Terms
If the Product is a Framer template, the Licensee must use it in accordance with the rules applicable to the Framer platform and Community.
You must not use the Product in a way that:
violates Framer's Terms of Service;
violates Framer's Community Terms;
violates Framer's Acceptable Use Policy;
infringes Framer's intellectual-property rights;
interferes with Framer's platform;
bypasses Framer's access controls or technical restrictions;
removes or alters Framer's proprietary notices where prohibited;
violates applicable law.
Framer's current Community Terms prohibit, among other things, interfering with the platform, circumventing technical controls and removing or altering Framer proprietary notices.
Caden Holt does not grant permission to use the Product in a manner that would violate Framer's own terms.
20. Framer Account Required
If the Product is a Framer template, the Licensee must maintain an appropriate Framer account and any required Framer subscription or plan.
Purchasing the Product does not purchase:
Framer software;
Framer hosting;
a Framer subscription;
a domain;
Framer's paid features;
Framer Workspace services.
Framer currently describes paid template use as a process in which the purchaser completes the creator's checkout and subsequently receives a remix link to copy the project into the purchaser's own Framer workspace.
The Licensee is responsible for complying with the applicable Framer plan requirements.
21. Preview Site and Demonstration Materials
The public Product Preview may contain materials that are not included in the purchased Product.
This distinction is intentional.
The public preview may use:
custom photography;
commissioned imagery;
proprietary artwork;
client or fictitious brand assets;
stock photography;
licensed media;
fonts;
videos;
illustrations;
logos;
proprietary copy;
demonstration content;
animations;
visual effects;
assets used solely to demonstrate the design.
The presence of an asset in the public Preview does not automatically mean that the asset is included in the downloadable or remixable Product.
Unless the Product Page expressly states that a Preview asset is included, the Licensee should assume that:
the Preview asset is not licensed to the Licensee.
The Licensee must replace excluded Preview Materials with content for which the Licensee has the necessary rights.
This provision is particularly important where the live public demonstration uses proprietary material that Caden Holt has rights to display but does not have rights to redistribute.
22. Public Demo Assets vs. Licensed Product Assets
The purchased Product may intentionally contain a different asset set from the public demonstration.
For example:
The public preview may contain an image licensed specifically for Caden Holt's demonstration site while the purchased Product contains a placeholder, alternative image or no image.
Likewise:
A public demonstration may contain proprietary branding, commissioned artwork or other material that is intentionally omitted from the purchased Product.
The Licensee acquires no rights merely by observing such material in the public Preview.
The Product Page and delivered Product determine what has actually been licensed.
23. Fonts
Fonts require particular care.
A font may be:
owned by Caden Holt;
licensed from a third party;
available under an open-source licence;
bundled with permission;
available only under the Buyer's own licence;
hosted by a third party.
Unless the Product Page or documentation expressly states that a particular font is included and licensed for your use, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary font license.
Where a third-party font is included, the relevant third-party terms prevail.
You may not extract or redistribute a font merely because it is referenced by, loaded by or displayed within the Product.
24. Images, Video, Audio and Illustrations
The same principle applies to:
photographs;
illustrations;
videos;
music;
sound effects;
icons;
animations;
3D assets;
stock material.
Where such content is supplied under a third-party license, that license determines your rights.
A Product license does not automatically grant rights broader than the rights held by Caden Holt.
If the Product uses placeholders, the Licensee must replace those placeholders with material for which the Licensee has appropriate rights before commercial publication where necessary.
25. Third-Party Open-Source and Free-Licensed Code
Some components or code included in the Product may be distributed under open-source or other permissive licenses.
Those licenses may grant rights directly to the Licensee and may impose their own obligations.
Examples may include obligations concerning:
attribution;
copyright notices;
licence notices;
source-code availability;
modification notices;
distribution conditions.
This License does not remove or override those obligations.
Where applicable, the relevant license information should be included in the Product documentation or notices accompanying the Product.
The Licensee is responsible for complying with any applicable third-party license terms.
26. No Sublicensing of Third-Party Materials
The Licensee may not sublicense Third-Party Materials merely because those materials are included within the Product.
Where the applicable third-party license permits use only under particular conditions, the Licensee must comply with those conditions.
Where separate licensing is required, the Licensee must obtain that separate license.
Caden Holt cannot and does not grant rights that it does not itself possess.
27. Customer Content
The Licensee retains ownership of content that it independently contributes to the Product, including:
company name;
logo;
brand assets;
photographs;
copy;
proprietary data;
customer information;
original graphics;
other independently owned material.
This License does not transfer ownership of the Licensee's own content to Caden Holt.
The Licensee is responsible for ensuring that its own content does not infringe third-party rights.
28. Customer Responsibility for Final Website
Once the Licensee modifies the Product and publishes the resulting End Product, the Licensee is responsible for the final implementation.
This includes responsibility for:
final copy;
images;
claims;
product descriptions;
contact information;
analytics;
cookies;
privacy notices;
terms;
accessibility;
legal disclosures;
integrations;
forms;
customer data;
third-party services;
domain configuration;
business-specific regulatory requirements.
Caden Holt does not represent that modifying a template automatically makes the resulting website legally compliant.
If the Licensee uses sample legal text included in a template, that text must be reviewed and adapted to the Licensee's actual circumstances.
The template's included legal pages, if any, are not a substitute for independent legal advice.
29. No Transfer of Caden Holt Branding
The Product does not grant a license to use the Caden Holt name, logo, trademarks, trade dress or other brand identifiers except where such use is technically necessary to comply with an applicable notice or license condition.
The Licensee may not:
represent Caden Holt as its own brand;
imply endorsement;
use Caden Holt branding in advertising;
register confusingly similar names;
use Caden Holt trademarks as part of a product or company identity.
The Licensee may truthfully describe the origin of the Product where necessary.
30. Copyright Notices
The Licensee may not remove or alter copyright, ownership, attribution or licensing notices contained within the Product where those notices are required by applicable law or the relevant license.
Where a notice belongs to Framer or another third party, the Licensee must comply with the relevant terms.
Framer's current Community Terms expressly prohibit removing or altering Framer proprietary notices or marks.
31. Modification of the Product
You may modify the Product for the Permitted Project.
Modification may include:
visual changes;
structural changes;
layout changes;
content replacement;
responsive adjustments;
CMS changes;
interactions;
animation changes;
code changes;
component changes.
However, modifying the Product does not:
transfer ownership of the underlying Product;
create a new unrestricted license;
grant permission to redistribute the modified source;
permit use in a second project;
permit resale as a template.
A modified copy remains subject to the license restrictions that apply to the underlying Licensed Materials.
32. Derivative Works
You may create a derivative End Product for the Permitted Project.
You may not create derivative digital products for redistribution or sale where the derivative substantially incorporates the Product's:
architecture;
visual system;
components;
layouts;
code;
interactions;
template structure;
design system;
other protectable Product materials.
Ordinary changes necessary to create the Permitted Project are expressly allowed.
The restriction concerns turning the Product into a separate redistributable or competitive product.
33. No Marketplace Redistribution
The Licensee may not upload, submit or distribute the Product or a derivative template to:
Framer Marketplace;
Framer Community;
another template marketplace;
design-resource libraries;
component marketplaces;
code repositories;
template subscription services;
competing platforms.
This restriction does not prevent you from using the resulting End Product on the Framer platform.
Framer's current paid Creator Content terms expressly prohibit offering licensed content as competing templates, themes, components, design systems or marketplace assets.
34. No Public Source Distribution
The Licensee must not make the Product's original source materials publicly accessible.
This includes placing them in:
GitHub repositories;
public Figma files;
public Framer remix links;
downloadable resource pages;
public cloud folders;
forum attachments;
community libraries.
This does not prohibit publication of the completed End Product itself.
35. Backup Copies
The Licensee may maintain a reasonable backup copy of the Product solely for:
disaster recovery;
continuity of the Permitted Project;
protection against accidental loss.
A backup copy:
may not be independently used;
may not be transferred;
may not be shared;
may not become a second project;
must remain under the Licensee's control.
A backup is not a second license.
36. Security of Access
The Licensee is responsible for protecting access to:
Framer accounts;
remix links;
download links;
project files;
documentation containing access information.
The Licensee must not intentionally expose private Product-access mechanisms to unauthorised persons.
If a private delivery link has been compromised, the Licensee should contact:
as soon as reasonably possible.
37. Updates to the Product
Caden Holt may release:
bug fixes;
improvements;
compatibility updates;
documentation updates;
design refinements;
new versions.
Whether updates are included depends on the Product Page and the applicable Product terms.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
A Product purchase does not create a perpetual obligation for Caden Holt to provide every future version, new feature or redesign of the Product.
Where mandatory consumer law requires updates necessary to maintain conformity, those obligations remain unaffected.
EU digital-content rules can impose update obligations where necessary to maintain conformity with applicable contractual/statutory requirements.
38. Versions
A new version of the Product may contain:
changed components;
changed layouts;
removed features;
replaced assets;
compatibility changes;
bug fixes;
design improvements.
Unless an update policy says otherwise, an update does not automatically grant a second project license.
Your license remains attached to the original Permitted Project.
39. Support and Product Assistance
Product support is governed by the applicable Sales & Refunds Policy and Product Page.
Support may include:
setup guidance;
explanation of included features;
troubleshooting;
identification of defects;
documentation clarification.
Support does not create an additional license.
Caden Holt's current Framer Community obligations include providing end-user support within a reasonable timeframe and maintaining a valid support email address.
For Product support:
40. Support Does Not Expand the License
Receiving technical assistance does not grant you any additional right to:
duplicate the Product;
use it for another project;
redistribute it;
transfer the original files;
resell components;
create a competing Product.
Technical support concerns the Permitted Project and does not modify this License unless Caden Holt expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
41. Product Ownership
Except for Third-Party Materials and materials owned by Framer or other rights holders, Caden Holt retains all right, title and interest in the Product and its underlying intellectual property.
The Product's intellectual-property rights may include:
copyright;
design rights;
database rights where applicable;
trademark rights;
trade-secret rights;
rights in confidential information;
rights in software;
rights in visual design;
rights in documentation;
other intellectual-property rights.
The Licensee receives only the rights expressly stated in this License.
42. No Implied Rights
No right is granted by implication, estoppel or otherwise.
In particular, the Licensee does not receive the right to:
sublicense;
assign;
resell;
redistribute;
create competing products;
create template libraries;
use the Product for multiple projects;
remove ownership notices;
use Caden Holt branding;
transfer the Product independently.
A right exists only where this License expressly grants it or applicable law requires it.
43. Third-Party Rights
Nothing in this License transfers ownership of:
Framer;
Framer Community assets;
third-party components;
open-source libraries;
fonts;
stock media;
other third-party material.
Each relevant rights holder retains its own rights.
Where a third-party license grants the Licensee independent rights, those rights remain subject to that third-party license.
44. Framer as Platform Provider
Framer is not a party to the license between Caden Holt and the Licensee solely because the Product is a Framer template.
Framer's current Terms state that third-party templates are created by independent creators, that Framer does not guarantee or endorse those templates, and that rights and responsibilities concerning those templates are governed by the Community Terms.
Accordingly:
Caden Holt is responsible for the Product;
Framer is responsible for the Framer Platform under its own terms;
the Licensee must comply with Framer's rules;
disputes concerning the Product are primarily between the Licensee and Caden Holt, subject to applicable law.
45. Framer Community Agreement
Where the Product is distributed through Framer Community or Marketplace, this License is intended to remain consistent with Framer's current Community Terms.
If Framer changes its Community Terms in a manner that affects how the Product can legally be distributed or used, Caden Holt may need to update this License accordingly.
The then-current Framer Community Terms can be found at:
https://www.framer.com/legal/community-terms/1.0
The current version of those terms expressly states that Creator Content is licensed to End Users under the applicable Creator Content license type and that the license must remain consistent with the Community Terms.
46. Compliance with Applicable Law
The Licensee must use the Product lawfully.
You must not use the Product in a manner that:
infringes intellectual-property rights;
violates privacy rights;
facilitates unlawful conduct;
distributes malicious code;
violates consumer-protection law;
breaches sanctions or other applicable restrictions;
violates Framer's platform rules;
violates third-party licenses.
This License does not authorise conduct that is otherwise unlawful.
47. No Legal, Regulatory or Professional Warranty
The Product is a design and implementation asset.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Product does not constitute:
legal advice;
tax advice;
accounting advice;
regulatory advice;
accessibility certification;
cybersecurity certification;
SEO consultancy;
marketing consultancy;
compliance certification.
A Product may include pages or structures labelled:
Privacy;
Terms;
Cookies;
Legal;
Accessibility;
Contact.
Those structures do not guarantee legal compliance for the Licensee's particular business.
The Licensee remains responsible for adapting the final website to its own circumstances.
48. Preview Claims and Product Representations
The Product should be reviewed before purchase.
The Licensee is responsible for ensuring that the Product's stated requirements are compatible with the Licensee's intended use.
Where the Product Page identifies a particular functionality, compatibility requirement or included feature, that information forms part of the applicable Product description subject to the relevant transaction terms and mandatory law.
The Licensee should not treat promotional statements concerning commercial success as guarantees of business performance.
Nothing in this License excludes mandatory digital-content conformity rights.
49. Privacy and Personal Data
The Product may contain form components, CMS structures, analytics placements or other functionality that can be configured to collect personal data.
The Licensee becomes responsible for the final data-processing configuration of the resulting End Product.
This includes responsibility for:
determining the controller;
identifying processors;
choosing lawful processing purposes;
configuring consent where required;
providing privacy notices;
implementing required cookie controls;
respecting data-subject rights;
securing collected information;
complying with applicable data-protection law.
The mere use of a Caden Holt Product does not transfer the data-protection responsibility for the Licensee's final website to Caden Holt.
Where Caden Holt itself processes personal data in connection with the purchase or support relationship, the Privacy Notice applies.
50. Security of Customer Implementations
The Product may contain code, integrations or components that operate within a third-party platform.
The Licensee is responsible for:
securing its own Framer account;
maintaining its own credentials;
reviewing third-party integrations;
configuring forms appropriately;
securing customer data;
maintaining appropriate third-party services;
monitoring changes to dependencies.
Caden Holt may provide reasonable Product support, but does not become the operator or security administrator of the Licensee's final website merely because the Product was used to build it.
51. Accessibility
The Product may be designed with accessibility principles in mind.
Unless the Product Page expressly states otherwise, no representation is made that the Licensee's final website will satisfy a particular accessibility statute, regulation or technical standard after the Licensee modifies the Product.
The Licensee remains responsible for:
final content;
contrast;
alt text;
headings;
form labelling;
keyboard behaviour;
dynamic interactions;
third-party integrations;
other implementation-specific accessibility requirements.
52. SEO
Where a Product is described as SEO-ready or SEO-structured, that description relates to the Product's implemented structure.
It does not guarantee:
search-engine rankings;
indexing;
traffic;
backlinks;
organic visibility;
conversions;
search placement.
The Licensee remains responsible for the final site's content, technical configuration, domain, Search Console setup and ongoing SEO activity.
53. Ownership of the Resulting Website
The Licensee's ownership of the End Product is separate from ownership of the Product.
For example:
You may own or control your website's original branding, copy, photographs, domain and other independently owned content.
That does not mean:
You own Caden Holt's underlying template.
The Product remains subject to this License even after significant modification.
54. Transfer of Completed Website
Where the Product is used for a permitted client project, the Licensee may transfer ownership or control of the completed End Product to the client where technically and commercially necessary, including through a supported Framer project-transfer mechanism.
Such a transfer:
applies to the completed End Product;
does not transfer ownership of the underlying Product;
does not create additional template licenses;
does not permit the client to reuse the template for another project;
does not permit the client to redistribute the source Product;
remains subject to the single-use restriction.
55. Evidence of License
The following may be used as evidence of the applicable license:
purchase confirmation;
order ID;
transaction record;
purchaser account;
email address used for purchase;
Product version;
checkout record;
license record maintained by the applicable sales platform.
The Licensee should retain the purchase confirmation for its records.
56. Fraudulent or Unauthorised Use
Caden Holt may investigate suspected:
unauthorised redistribution;
duplicate use;
license circumvention;
fraudulent purchases;
public sharing;
marketplace redistribution;
counterfeit listings;
commercial exploitation outside the permitted project.
The Licensee must cooperate reasonably with a legitimate inquiry concerning the License.
57. Material Breach
A material breach may include:
unauthorised redistribution;
resale;
sublicensing;
use in multiple projects;
creation of a competing Product;
public distribution;
deliberate infringement;
removal of required rights notices;
repeated refusal to comply with applicable third-party terms.
Where a material breach occurs, Caden Holt may:
request that the breach be cured;
suspend Product support;
require cessation of unauthorised use;
require deletion of unlawfully retained copies;
terminate the License;
pursue other lawful remedies.
Where the breach is capable of cure, Caden Holt may provide a reasonable opportunity to cure before termination unless immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect intellectual-property rights, security, legal rights or third parties.
58. Termination
This License remains effective for the Permitted Project unless:
the License is terminated under these Terms;
the purchase is refunded and the applicable transaction is unwound;
the Product is used in material breach;
mandatory law requires otherwise.
Upon termination due to a material breach, the Licensee must stop using the Product as required by applicable law and this License and must delete or cease using copies under its control to the extent required.
Where the Product has been incorporated into a live End Product for a lawful Permitted Project, the consequences of termination will be determined with regard to the nature of the breach and applicable law.
Nothing in this section permits Caden Holt to revoke a statutory consumer right or other right that cannot lawfully be removed.
59. Effect of Refund on License
Where a refund is validly granted and the transaction is unwound, the Licensee's rights to use the refunded Product ordinarily cease unless:
applicable law requires otherwise; or
Caden Holt expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
The Licensee should then:
cease use of the Product;
cease use of the Product's source materials;
stop distributing the Product;
remove unauthorised copies;
retain only information that must legally be retained.
The relationship between refunds and the transaction itself is governed by the Sales & Refunds Policy.
For Polar transactions, applicable Polar refund procedures also apply.
60. Survival
The provisions concerning:
intellectual-property ownership;
prohibited uses;
confidentiality where applicable;
limitations of liability;
dispute resolution;
governing law;
accrued rights;
evidence;
interpretation;
survive termination to the extent necessary to give them effect.
61. Intellectual-Property Infringement Reports
Caden Holt wants legitimate intellectual-property concerns to be resolved directly and efficiently wherever possible.
If you believe that:
the Product infringes your intellectual-property rights;
an included asset infringes your rights;
an image or other material is being distributed without permission;
a Product component violates a licence;
Caden Holt's Product incorrectly uses your trademark or copyrighted material;
please contact:
Please include:
your name;
organisation, if applicable;
contact information;
the relevant Product;
the relevant URL or file;
the allegedly infringing material;
the nature of the claimed right;
an explanation of the issue;
supporting evidence where available.
Caden Holt encourages rights holders to contact the business before commencing formal proceedings where circumstances permit, so that the issue can be reviewed and, where appropriate, corrected, replaced or removed promptly.
A good-faith report does not require either party to waive any legal right.
62. Third-Party Infringement Reports
Where an allegation concerns a Third-Party Material rather than an original Caden Holt asset, Caden Holt may investigate:
the source;
the applicable license;
the permissions available;
the way the material was incorporated;
whether replacement is appropriate.
Where appropriate, Caden Holt may replace or remove the relevant material from future Product versions.
This does not create an admission of liability merely because a report was received.
63. No Circumvention
You must not attempt to circumvent:
licensing restrictions;
purchase requirements;
access controls;
private distribution links;
technical protections;
Framer's mechanisms;
third-party access controls.
You must not deliberately modify the Product or its distribution mechanism for the purpose of avoiding the restrictions contained in this License.
64. No Circumvention of Third-Party Licensing
You must not modify, remove, obscure or bypass technical or licensing mechanisms in Third-Party Materials for the purpose of obtaining rights that are not available under their applicable license.
This includes attempting to:
remove license restrictions;
extract paid assets;
defeat access controls;
evade attribution obligations;
redistribute restricted materials.
65. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide feedback concerning the Product, Caden Holt may use that feedback to improve the Product and related services without owing compensation for the feedback itself.
Feedback does not transfer ownership of your independently created intellectual property unless you expressly agree otherwise.
Caden Holt does not acquire ownership of a customer's unrelated intellectual property merely because it is described in feedback.
66. Product Documentation
Documentation supplied with the Product is part of the Product's supporting materials.
Documentation may be updated for:
corrections;
clarification;
platform changes;
compatibility changes;
improved instructions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, documentation does not grant rights beyond those contained in this License.
67. No Agency or Partnership
Purchasing or using the Product does not create:
employment;
agency;
partnership;
joint venture;
franchise;
representation relationship;
between the Licensee and Caden Holt.
A customer may truthfully state that a website was built using a Caden Holt Product but must not imply that Caden Holt endorses, operates or is legally affiliated with the resulting business unless agreed separately.
68. Availability of the Product
Caden Holt may:
update the Product;
discontinue new sales;
replace components;
change documentation;
alter the Product Page;
replace third-party assets;
change the supported environment.
Discontinuation of new sales does not by itself terminate the rights of an existing lawful Licensee to continue using the Product within the Permitted Project, subject to:
the continuing license;
applicable third-party rights;
Framer platform availability;
applicable law;
material license breach.
69. Third-Party Platform Changes
Where the Product depends upon Framer or another third-party platform, that platform may change independently of Caden Holt.
Examples include:
changed features;
changed APIs;
changed pricing;
changed plan requirements;
discontinued features;
interface changes;
changed publishing rules;
security changes;
technical restrictions.
Caden Holt does not guarantee compatibility with every future version of a third-party platform unless expressly promised.
Where consumer law creates a mandatory conformity or update obligation, that obligation remains unaffected.
70. Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Product is provided as a digital design asset and is not warranted to remain:
unchanged;
permanently available;
compatible with every future platform version;
compatible with every third-party service;
suitable for every business;
free of every error.
This disclaimer does not exclude mandatory statutory rights, digital-content conformity requirements or other legal protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
71. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Caden Holt will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising from the use or inability to use the Product.
Such losses may include:
lost profits;
lost revenue;
lost business opportunity;
loss of goodwill;
loss of anticipated savings;
business interruption.
For Business Buyers, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Caden Holt's aggregate contractual liability arising directly from the Product will ordinarily be limited to the amount actually paid for that Product.
This limitation does not apply where applicable law prohibits it.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability or a mandatory remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
72. Consumer Rights
Where the Licensee is a consumer, mandatory consumer-protection rules apply.
Nothing in this License:
removes mandatory conformity rights;
eliminates a legally available withdrawal right;
removes statutory remedies;
limits a mandatory warranty;
restricts a legally protected consumer complaint;
deprives a consumer of rights that cannot legally be waived.
EU digital-content law establishes mandatory conformity and remedy rules for consumer transactions, and Greece has implemented those rules through its national legislation.
73. Business Buyers
Where the Licensee purchases for a trade, business, craft or professional purpose, consumer-specific provisions may not apply.
The Business Buyer's rights are determined by:
this License;
the applicable Sales & Refunds Policy;
the Product Page;
the purchase record;
applicable third-party terms;
mandatory law.
Where the Business Buyer is purchasing the Product for a client project, the Business Buyer remains responsible for ensuring that its client relationship does not require rights broader than those granted under this License.
74. Language
This License is published in English.
English is the principal language used by Caden Holt for international commercial and professional activities.
Where mandatory law requires consumer-facing contractual terms or information to be made available in Greek or another language, Caden Holt will provide the legally required version.
For international business-to-business transactions, English may be used as the contractual language to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory language right.
75. Governing Law
This License is governed by the laws of Greece, subject to:
mandatory European Union law;
mandatory consumer-protection rules;
mandatory provisions applicable to the Licensee's jurisdiction;
applicable conflict-of-laws rules.
Nothing in this section removes mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded by agreement.
76. Jurisdiction
For Business Buyers and other non-consumer transactions, disputes may, to the extent permitted by applicable law, be submitted to the competent courts of Greece.
For consumers, mandatory jurisdiction rules apply.
Nothing in this License requires a consumer to surrender a mandatory right to bring proceedings in a court otherwise available under applicable law.
77. Good-Faith Resolution
Before pursuing formal proceedings concerning Product licensing or intellectual-property issues, Caden Holt encourages the affected party to contact:
and provide sufficient information for the issue to be reviewed.
Where the circumstances permit, Caden Holt will seek to determine whether the issue can be resolved through:
clarification;
correction;
replacement;
removal;
licence adjustment;
other commercially reasonable resolution.
This voluntary process does not waive:
limitation periods;
injunctive rights;
statutory remedies;
consumer rights;
rights to seek urgent relief.
78. Changes to this License
Caden Holt may update this License to reflect:
changes in law;
changes in the Product;
changes in Framer's platform;
changes in third-party dependencies;
changes in distribution channels;
additional Product types;
corrections;
clarification of existing provisions.
The current version is published at:
https://cadenholt.com/legal/license
The version applicable to a particular completed purchase may be determined by the applicable purchase record and applicable mandatory law.
A later version does not automatically retroactively remove rights already granted where doing so would be unlawful.
Where a material change requires affirmative acceptance under applicable law, an appropriate acceptance mechanism will be used.
79. Severability
If any provision of this License is held invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or interpreted to the minimum extent necessary where legally permissible.
The remainder of the License remains effective.
No provision will be interpreted as creating a waiver of a mandatory statutory right.
80. No Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision immediately does not constitute a permanent waiver of that provision.
A waiver in one circumstance does not constitute a waiver in another.
81. Entire License
This License, together with the applicable:
Product Page;
purchase record;
Product documentation;
Sales & Refunds Policy;
applicable third-party licenses;
applicable Framer terms;
constitutes the framework governing the Licensee's right to use the Product.
The Product Page determines what is included.
The Sales & Refunds Policy governs purchase, delivery and refunds.
This License governs intellectual-property rights and permitted use.
Framer's own terms govern the use of the Framer platform.
Third-party licenses govern Third-Party Materials to the extent applicable.
This division is intentional and prevents unrelated legal documents from being treated as though they were the same contractual instrument.
82. Order of Precedence
Where there is a conflict:
mandatory applicable law;
mandatory consumer rights;
the applicable transaction terms of the Merchant of Record or marketplace, to the extent governing that transaction;
the specific Product Page or purchase terms concerning what was actually sold;
an express product-specific license;
this License;
supporting Product documentation.
For Third-Party Materials, the applicable third-party license controls the rights in that third-party material to the extent of a conflict.
For the Framer platform, Framer's applicable platform and Community terms control the use of Framer itself.

Version 1.0
Effective date: 6 October 2026
Last updated: 6 October 2026
Subject to:
successful payment;
continued compliance with this License;
compliance with applicable law;
compliance with applicable Framer terms; and
compliance with any applicable third-party license terms,
Caden Holt grants the Licensee a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable commercial license to use the Product solely to create and operate one Permitted Project.
Subject to the restrictions in this License, you may:
access the purchased Product;
copy or remix the Product into your own Framer workspace using the authorised delivery mechanism;
edit the Product;
customise layouts;
modify text;
replace images;
change colours;
modify typography;
modify navigation;
modify CMS content;
modify components;
adapt the visual presentation;
add your own content;
remove sections;
add new sections;
modify animations;
modify interactions;
connect your own domain;
publish the resulting End Product;
use the resulting End Product for commercial or non-commercial purposes;
use the resulting End Product for your own business;
where permitted below, create one End Product for one client.
You purchase one license and use it to build:
your personal website;
your company website;
a client's website;
a second client's website.
In such a case:
the Licensee remains responsible for compliance with this License;
the client may receive ownership or control of the completed End Product where appropriate;
the client may use the completed End Product for its ordinary business purposes;
the client does not receive a separate license to the original Product as a reusable template;
the Licensee may not provide the original remix link, source package or standalone Product to the client for independent reuse;
the client may not extract and reuse the Product as a template for another project.
A Product license may be purchased by:
an individual;
a sole proprietor;
a company;
another legally recognised organisation,
subject to the checkout and applicable Product terms.
Such access must be:
necessary for the Permitted Project;
limited to the scope required;
subject to confidentiality where appropriate;
subject to restrictions at least as protective as those contained in this License.
The third party may not:
keep the Product for unrelated future work;
reuse the Product elsewhere;
share the Product;
create a competing template;
redistribute the Product;
retain independent rights to the Product.
You may not:
sell your Product license;
give your license to another business;
transfer the original Product to another designer;
give another person your remix link for their own project;
publish the Product in a shared resource library;
place the Product in an agency-wide template repository for unrestricted reuse;
include the Product in another person's template collection.
A change of ownership, sale or restructuring of a business does not automatically transfer the Product License.
Any transfer not expressly permitted by this License requires prior written approval from Caden Holt.
11. No Redistribution
You must not redistribute the Product in whole or in substantial part.
This includes redistribution through:
websites;
marketplaces;
repositories;
file-sharing platforms;
community libraries;
template libraries;
cloud storage shared with unauthorised users;
downloadable bundles;
design-resource websites;
private groups;
public repositories;
social-media attachments;
torrent or peer-to-peer services.
You may not sell:
the template;
substantially the same template;
a lightly modified version;
extracted sections;
extracted components;
template files;
remix links;
design-system files;
template documentation;
as a competing or standalone digital product.
You may sell the completed End Product as part of a legitimate website, design or digital implementation project where this License expressly permits such client use.
The distinction is:
You may sell the result. You may not resell the tool used to create the result.
13. No Competing Products
You may not use the Product to create or offer a competing:
Framer template;
website template;
component pack;
UI kit;
design system;
template library;
theme;
marketplace asset;
downloadable website starter;
substantially similar digital design product.
This restriction applies whether the competing product is sold:
directly;
through a marketplace;
through a subscription;
through a membership;
as a free download;
as a lead magnet;
as a bundle;
or through another distribution mechanism.
For example, you may not:
extract a navigation component and sell it separately;
copy the design system into a second site;
turn included components into a component library;
convert the template into a new marketplace product;
reuse the same component package across several client projects;
publish the underlying source files.
The fact that a component can technically be copied does not create a license to do so.
15. Original Caden Holt Materials
To the extent Caden Holt owns intellectual-property rights in the Product, those rights remain with Caden Holt.
These may include:
original interface designs;
original layouts;
original design systems;
original visual concepts;
original components;
original code;
original animations;
original interactions;
original documentation;
original graphics;
original written material;
original information architecture;
original structure and arrangement.
Your license grants permission to use these materials within the Permitted Project.
It does not transfer ownership of them.
16. Product Components
The Product may contain custom components created by Caden Holt.
These components may be:
visually editable;
technically editable;
reusable within the Permitted Project;
modified to suit the Buyer's implementation.
The Licensee may modify such components as necessary for the Permitted Project.
The Licensee may not separately:
sell them;
redistribute them;
publish them as standalone components;
license them to another party;
include them in another template;
submit them as an independent marketplace product;
use them to create a competing component library.
17. Third-Party Components
The Product may also contain components, code or other materials that were created by third parties and made available under licenses or permissions that allow their use within the Product.
The rights to those Third-Party Materials are not owned by Caden Holt merely because they appear inside the Product.
Where Third-Party Materials are included:
their original owner retains ownership;
their own applicable license may impose additional conditions;
this License does not override their applicable terms;
the Licensee receives only the rights available under the applicable third-party license;
the Licensee must comply with those terms.
Framer's own Platform;
Creator Content;
Non-Framer Resources;
third-party Community materials.
You must not use the Product in a way that:
violates Framer's Terms of Service;
violates Framer's Community Terms;
violates Framer's Acceptable Use Policy;
infringes Framer's intellectual-property rights;
interferes with Framer's platform;
bypasses Framer's access controls or technical restrictions;
removes or alters Framer's proprietary notices where prohibited;
violates applicable law.
Framer software;
Framer hosting;
a Framer subscription;
a domain;
Framer's paid features;
The public preview may use:
custom photography;
commissioned imagery;
proprietary artwork;
client or fictitious brand assets;
stock photography;
licensed media;
fonts;
videos;
illustrations;
logos;
proprietary copy;
demonstration content;
animations;
visual effects;
assets used solely to demonstrate the design.
A font may be:
owned by Caden Holt;
licensed from a third party;
available under an open-source licence;
bundled with permission;
available only under the Buyer's own licence;
hosted by a third party.
The same principle applies to:
photographs;
illustrations;
videos;
music;
sound effects;
icons;
animations;
3D assets;
stock material.
Examples may include obligations concerning:
attribution;
copyright notices;
licence notices;
source-code availability;
modification notices;
distribution conditions.
The Licensee retains ownership of content that it independently contributes to the Product, including:
company name;
logo;
brand assets;
photographs;
copy;
proprietary data;
customer information;
original graphics;
other independently owned material.
This includes responsibility for:
final copy;
images;
claims;
product descriptions;
contact information;
analytics;
cookies;
privacy notices;
terms;
accessibility;
legal disclosures;
integrations;
forms;
customer data;
third-party services;
domain configuration;
business-specific regulatory requirements.
The Licensee may not:
represent Caden Holt as its own brand;
imply endorsement;
use Caden Holt branding in advertising;
register confusingly similar names;
use Caden Holt trademarks as part of a product or company identity.
Modification may include:
visual changes;
structural changes;
layout changes;
content replacement;
responsive adjustments;
CMS changes;
interactions;
animation changes;
code changes;
component changes.
However, modifying the Product does not:
transfer ownership of the underlying Product;
create a new unrestricted license;
grant permission to redistribute the modified source;
permit use in a second project;
permit resale as a template.
A modified copy remains subject to the license restrictions that apply to the underlying Licensed Materials.
32. Derivative Works
You may create a derivative End Product for the Permitted Project.
You may not create derivative digital products for redistribution or sale where the derivative substantially incorporates the Product's:
architecture;
visual system;
components;
layouts;
code;
interactions;
template structure;
design system;
other protectable Product materials.
Ordinary changes necessary to create the Permitted Project are expressly allowed.
The restriction concerns turning the Product into a separate redistributable or competitive product.
33. No Marketplace Redistribution
The Licensee may not upload, submit or distribute the Product or a derivative template to:
Framer Marketplace;
Framer Community;
another template marketplace;
design-resource libraries;
component marketplaces;
code repositories;
template subscription services;
competing platforms.
GitHub repositories;
public Figma files;
public Framer remix links;
downloadable resource pages;
public cloud folders;
forum attachments;
community libraries.
This does not prohibit publication of the completed End Product itself.
35. Backup Copies
The Licensee may maintain a reasonable backup copy of the Product solely for:
disaster recovery;
continuity of the Permitted Project;
protection against accidental loss.
A backup copy:
may not be independently used;
may not be transferred;
may not be shared;
may not become a second project;
must remain under the Licensee's control.
A backup is not a second license.
36. Security of Access
The Licensee is responsible for protecting access to:
Framer accounts;
remix links;
download links;
project files;
documentation containing access information.
The Licensee must not intentionally expose private Product-access mechanisms to unauthorised persons.
If a private delivery link has been compromised, the Licensee should contact:
as soon as reasonably possible.
37. Updates to the Product
Caden Holt may release:
bug fixes;
improvements;
compatibility updates;
documentation updates;
design refinements;
new versions.
38. Versions
A new version of the Product may contain:
changed components;
changed layouts;
removed features;
replaced assets;
compatibility changes;
bug fixes;
design improvements.
Unless an update policy says otherwise, an update does not automatically grant a second project license.
Your license remains attached to the original Permitted Project.
39. Support and Product Assistance
Product support is governed by the applicable Sales & Refunds Policy and Product Page.
Support may include:
setup guidance;
explanation of included features;
troubleshooting;
identification of defects;
documentation clarification.
Support does not create an additional license.
Caden Holt's current Framer Community obligations include providing end-user support within a reasonable timeframe and maintaining a valid support email address.
For Product support:
40. Support Does Not Expand the License
Receiving technical assistance does not grant you any additional right to:
duplicate the Product;
use it for another project;
redistribute it;
transfer the original files;
resell components;
create a competing Product.
The Product's intellectual-property rights may include:
copyright;
design rights;
database rights where applicable;
trademark rights;
trade-secret rights;
rights in confidential information;
rights in software;
rights in visual design;
rights in documentation;
other intellectual-property rights.
The Licensee receives only the rights expressly stated in this License.
42. No Implied Rights
No right is granted by implication, estoppel or otherwise.
In particular, the Licensee does not receive the right to:
sublicense;
assign;
resell;
redistribute;
create competing products;
create template libraries;
use the Product for multiple projects;
remove ownership notices;
use Caden Holt branding;
transfer the Product independently.
A right exists only where this License expressly grants it or applicable law requires it.
43. Third-Party Rights
Nothing in this License transfers ownership of:
Framer;
Framer Community assets;
third-party components;
open-source libraries;
fonts;
stock media;
other third-party material.
Caden Holt is responsible for the Product;
Framer is responsible for the Framer Platform under its own terms;
the Licensee must comply with Framer's rules;
disputes concerning the Product are primarily between the Licensee and Caden Holt, subject to applicable law.
You must not use the Product in a manner that:
infringes intellectual-property rights;
violates privacy rights;
facilitates unlawful conduct;
distributes malicious code;
violates consumer-protection law;
breaches sanctions or other applicable restrictions;
violates Framer's platform rules;
violates third-party licenses.
This License does not authorise conduct that is otherwise unlawful.
47. No Legal, Regulatory or Professional Warranty
The Product is a design and implementation asset.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Product does not constitute:
legal advice;
tax advice;
accounting advice;
regulatory advice;
accessibility certification;
cybersecurity certification;
SEO consultancy;
marketing consultancy;
compliance certification.
A Product may include pages or structures labelled:
Privacy;
Terms;
Cookies;
Legal;
Accessibility;
This includes responsibility for:
determining the controller;
identifying processors;
choosing lawful processing purposes;
configuring consent where required;
providing privacy notices;
implementing required cookie controls;
respecting data-subject rights;
securing collected information;
complying with applicable data-protection law.
The Licensee is responsible for:
securing its own Framer account;
maintaining its own credentials;
reviewing third-party integrations;
configuring forms appropriately;
securing customer data;
maintaining appropriate third-party services;
monitoring changes to dependencies.
The Licensee remains responsible for:
final content;
contrast;
alt text;
headings;
form labelling;
keyboard behaviour;
dynamic interactions;
third-party integrations;
other implementation-specific accessibility requirements.
52. SEO
Where a Product is described as SEO-ready or SEO-structured, that description relates to the Product's implemented structure.
It does not guarantee:
search-engine rankings;
indexing;
traffic;
backlinks;
organic visibility;
conversions;
search placement.
Such a transfer:
applies to the completed End Product;
does not transfer ownership of the underlying Product;
does not create additional template licenses;
does not permit the client to reuse the template for another project;
does not permit the client to redistribute the source Product;
remains subject to the single-use restriction.
55. Evidence of License
The following may be used as evidence of the applicable license:
purchase confirmation;
order ID;
transaction record;
purchaser account;
email address used for purchase;
Product version;
checkout record;
license record maintained by the applicable sales platform.
The Licensee should retain the purchase confirmation for its records.
56. Fraudulent or Unauthorised Use
Caden Holt may investigate suspected:
unauthorised redistribution;
duplicate use;
license circumvention;
fraudulent purchases;
public sharing;
marketplace redistribution;
counterfeit listings;
commercial exploitation outside the permitted project.
The Licensee must cooperate reasonably with a legitimate inquiry concerning the License.
57. Material Breach
A material breach may include:
unauthorised redistribution;
resale;
sublicensing;
use in multiple projects;
creation of a competing Product;
public distribution;
deliberate infringement;
removal of required rights notices;
repeated refusal to comply with applicable third-party terms.
Where a material breach occurs, Caden Holt may:
request that the breach be cured;
suspend Product support;
require cessation of unauthorised use;
require deletion of unlawfully retained copies;
terminate the License;
pursue other lawful remedies.
Where the breach is capable of cure, Caden Holt may provide a reasonable opportunity to cure before termination unless immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect intellectual-property rights, security, legal rights or third parties.
58. Termination
This License remains effective for the Permitted Project unless:
the License is terminated under these Terms;
the purchase is refunded and the applicable transaction is unwound;
the Product is used in material breach;
mandatory law requires otherwise.
The Licensee should then:
cease use of the Product;
cease use of the Product's source materials;
stop distributing the Product;
remove unauthorised copies;
retain only information that must legally be retained.
The relationship between refunds and the transaction itself is governed by the Sales & Refunds Policy.
For Polar transactions, applicable Polar refund procedures also apply.
60. Survival
The provisions concerning:
intellectual-property ownership;
prohibited uses;
confidentiality where applicable;
limitations of liability;
dispute resolution;
governing law;
accrued rights;
evidence;
interpretation;
survive termination to the extent necessary to give them effect.
61. Intellectual-Property Infringement Reports
Caden Holt wants legitimate intellectual-property concerns to be resolved directly and efficiently wherever possible.
If you believe that:
the Product infringes your intellectual-property rights;
an included asset infringes your rights;
an image or other material is being distributed without permission;
a Product component violates a licence;
Caden Holt's Product incorrectly uses your trademark or copyrighted material;
please contact:
Please include:
your name;
organisation, if applicable;
contact information;
the relevant Product;
the relevant URL or file;
the allegedly infringing material;
the nature of the claimed right;
an explanation of the issue;
supporting evidence where available.
Where an allegation concerns a Third-Party Material rather than an original Caden Holt asset, Caden Holt may investigate:
the source;
the applicable license;
the permissions available;
the way the material was incorporated;
whether replacement is appropriate.
Where appropriate, Caden Holt may replace or remove the relevant material from future Product versions.
This does not create an admission of liability merely because a report was received.
63. No Circumvention
You must not attempt to circumvent:
licensing restrictions;
purchase requirements;
access controls;
private distribution links;
technical protections;
Framer's mechanisms;
third-party access controls.
This includes attempting to:
remove license restrictions;
extract paid assets;
defeat access controls;
evade attribution obligations;
redistribute restricted materials.
Documentation may be updated for:
corrections;
clarification;
platform changes;
compatibility changes;
improved instructions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, documentation does not grant rights beyond those contained in this License.
67. No Agency or Partnership
Purchasing or using the Product does not create:
employment;
agency;
partnership;
joint venture;
franchise;
representation relationship;
between the Licensee and Caden Holt.
A customer may truthfully state that a website was built using a Caden Holt Product but must not imply that Caden Holt endorses, operates or is legally affiliated with the resulting business unless agreed separately.
68. Availability of the Product
Caden Holt may:
update the Product;
discontinue new sales;
replace components;
change documentation;
alter the Product Page;
replace third-party assets;
change the supported environment.
Discontinuation of new sales does not by itself terminate the rights of an existing lawful Licensee to continue using the Product within the Permitted Project, subject to:
the continuing license;
applicable third-party rights;
Framer platform availability;
applicable law;
material license breach.
69. Third-Party Platform Changes
Where the Product depends upon Framer or another third-party platform, that platform may change independently of Caden Holt.
Examples include:
changed features;
changed APIs;
changed pricing;
changed plan requirements;
discontinued features;
interface changes;
changed publishing rules;
security changes;
technical restrictions.
Caden Holt does not guarantee compatibility with every future version of a third-party platform unless expressly promised.
Where consumer law creates a mandatory conformity or update obligation, that obligation remains unaffected.
70. Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Product is provided as a digital design asset and is not warranted to remain:
unchanged;
permanently available;
compatible with every future platform version;
compatible with every third-party service;
suitable for every business;
free of every error.
Such losses may include:
lost profits;
lost revenue;
lost business opportunity;
loss of goodwill;
loss of anticipated savings;
business interruption.
Nothing in this License:
removes mandatory conformity rights;
eliminates a legally available withdrawal right;
removes statutory remedies;
limits a mandatory warranty;
restricts a legally protected consumer complaint;
deprives a consumer of rights that cannot legally be waived.
EU digital-content law establishes mandatory conformity and remedy rules for consumer transactions, and Greece has implemented those rules through its national legislation.
73. Business Buyers
Where the Licensee purchases for a trade, business, craft or professional purpose, consumer-specific provisions may not apply.
The Business Buyer's rights are determined by:
this License;
the applicable Sales & Refunds Policy;
the Product Page;
the purchase record;
applicable third-party terms;
mandatory law.
This License is governed by the laws of Greece, subject to:
mandatory European Union law;
mandatory consumer-protection rules;
mandatory provisions applicable to the Licensee's jurisdiction;
applicable conflict-of-laws rules.
Where the circumstances permit, Caden Holt will seek to determine whether the issue can be resolved through:
clarification;
correction;
replacement;
removal;
licence adjustment;
other commercially reasonable resolution.
This voluntary process does not waive:
limitation periods;
injunctive rights;
statutory remedies;
consumer rights;
rights to seek urgent relief.
78. Changes to this License
Caden Holt may update this License to reflect:
changes in law;
changes in the Product;
changes in Framer's platform;
changes in third-party dependencies;
changes in distribution channels;
additional Product types;
corrections;
clarification of existing provisions.
Product Page;
purchase record;
Product documentation;
Sales & Refunds Policy;
applicable third-party licenses;
applicable Framer terms;
constitutes the framework governing the Licensee's right to use the Product.
Where there is a conflict:
mandatory applicable law;
mandatory consumer rights;
the applicable transaction terms of the Merchant of Record or marketplace, to the extent governing that transaction;
the specific Product Page or purchase terms concerning what was actually sold;
an express product-specific license;
this License;
supporting Product documentation.
For Third-Party Materials, the applicable third-party license controls the rights in that third-party material to the extent of a conflict.
For the Framer platform, Framer's applicable platform and Community terms control the use of Framer itself.

3.9 "End Product"
Means the substantially completed website or digital experience created by the Licensee using the Product, rather than the Product itself.
4. Grant of License
Subject to:
successful payment;
continued compliance with this License;
compliance with applicable law;
compliance with applicable Framer terms; and
compliance with any applicable third-party license terms,
Caden Holt grants the Licensee a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable commercial license to use the Product solely to create and operate one Permitted Project.
Subject to the restrictions in this License, you may:
access the purchased Product;
copy or remix the Product into your own Framer workspace using the authorised delivery mechanism;
edit the Product;
customise layouts;
modify text;
replace images;
change colours;
modify typography;
modify navigation;
modify CMS content;
modify components;
adapt the visual presentation;
add your own content;
remove sections;
add new sections;
modify animations;
modify interactions;
connect your own domain;
publish the resulting End Product;
use the resulting End Product for commercial or non-commercial purposes;
use the resulting End Product for your own business;
where permitted below, create one End Product for one client.
You purchase one license and use it to build:
your personal website;
your company website;
a client's website;
a second client's website.
In such a case:
the Licensee remains responsible for compliance with this License;
the client may receive ownership or control of the completed End Product where appropriate;
the client may use the completed End Product for its ordinary business purposes;
the client does not receive a separate license to the original Product as a reusable template;
the Licensee may not provide the original remix link, source package or standalone Product to the client for independent reuse;
the client may not extract and reuse the Product as a template for another project.
A Product license may be purchased by:
an individual;
a sole proprietor;
a company;
another legally recognised organisation,
subject to the checkout and applicable Product terms.
Such access must be:
necessary for the Permitted Project;
limited to the scope required;
subject to confidentiality where appropriate;
subject to restrictions at least as protective as those contained in this License.
The third party may not:
keep the Product for unrelated future work;
reuse the Product elsewhere;
share the Product;
create a competing template;
redistribute the Product;
retain independent rights to the Product.
You may not:
sell your Product license;
give your license to another business;
transfer the original Product to another designer;
give another person your remix link for their own project;
publish the Product in a shared resource library;
place the Product in an agency-wide template repository for unrestricted reuse;
include the Product in another person's template collection.
A change of ownership, sale or restructuring of a business does not automatically transfer the Product License.
Any transfer not expressly permitted by this License requires prior written approval from Caden Holt.
11. No Redistribution
You must not redistribute the Product in whole or in substantial part.
This includes redistribution through:
websites;
marketplaces;
repositories;
file-sharing platforms;
community libraries;
template libraries;
cloud storage shared with unauthorised users;
downloadable bundles;
design-resource websites;
private groups;
public repositories;
social-media attachments;
torrent or peer-to-peer services.
You may not sell:
the template;
substantially the same template;
a lightly modified version;
extracted sections;
extracted components;
template files;
remix links;
design-system files;
template documentation;
as a competing or standalone digital product.
You may sell the completed End Product as part of a legitimate website, design or digital implementation project where this License expressly permits such client use.
The distinction is:
You may sell the result. You may not resell the tool used to create the result.
13. No Competing Products
You may not use the Product to create or offer a competing:
Framer template;
website template;
component pack;
UI kit;
design system;
template library;
theme;
marketplace asset;
downloadable website starter;
substantially similar digital design product.
This restriction applies whether the competing product is sold:
directly;
through a marketplace;
through a subscription;
through a membership;
as a free download;
as a lead magnet;
as a bundle;
or through another distribution mechanism.
For example, you may not:
extract a navigation component and sell it separately;
copy the design system into a second site;
turn included components into a component library;
convert the template into a new marketplace product;
reuse the same component package across several client projects;
publish the underlying source files.
The fact that a component can technically be copied does not create a license to do so.
15. Original Caden Holt Materials
To the extent Caden Holt owns intellectual-property rights in the Product, those rights remain with Caden Holt.
These may include:
original interface designs;
original layouts;
original design systems;
original visual concepts;
original components;
original code;
original animations;
original interactions;
original documentation;
original graphics;
original written material;
original information architecture;
original structure and arrangement.
Your license grants permission to use these materials within the Permitted Project.
It does not transfer ownership of them.
16. Product Components
The Product may contain custom components created by Caden Holt.
These components may be:
visually editable;
technically editable;
reusable within the Permitted Project;
modified to suit the Buyer's implementation.
The Licensee may modify such components as necessary for the Permitted Project.
The Licensee may not separately:
sell them;
redistribute them;
publish them as standalone components;
license them to another party;
include them in another template;
submit them as an independent marketplace product;
use them to create a competing component library.
17. Third-Party Components
The Product may also contain components, code or other materials that were created by third parties and made available under licenses or permissions that allow their use within the Product.
The rights to those Third-Party Materials are not owned by Caden Holt merely because they appear inside the Product.
Where Third-Party Materials are included:
their original owner retains ownership;
their own applicable license may impose additional conditions;
this License does not override their applicable terms;
the Licensee receives only the rights available under the applicable third-party license;
the Licensee must comply with those terms.
Framer's own Platform;
Creator Content;
Non-Framer Resources;
third-party Community materials.
You must not use the Product in a way that:
violates Framer's Terms of Service;
violates Framer's Community Terms;
violates Framer's Acceptable Use Policy;
infringes Framer's intellectual-property rights;
interferes with Framer's platform;
bypasses Framer's access controls or technical restrictions;
removes or alters Framer's proprietary notices where prohibited;
violates applicable law.
Framer software;
Framer hosting;
a Framer subscription;
a domain;
Framer's paid features;
The public preview may use:
custom photography;
commissioned imagery;
proprietary artwork;
client or fictitious brand assets;
stock photography;
licensed media;
fonts;
videos;
illustrations;
logos;
proprietary copy;
demonstration content;
animations;
visual effects;
assets used solely to demonstrate the design.
A font may be:
owned by Caden Holt;
licensed from a third party;
available under an open-source licence;
bundled with permission;
available only under the Buyer's own licence;
hosted by a third party.
The same principle applies to:
photographs;
illustrations;
videos;
music;
sound effects;
icons;
animations;
3D assets;
stock material.
Examples may include obligations concerning:
attribution;
copyright notices;
licence notices;
source-code availability;
modification notices;
distribution conditions.
The Licensee retains ownership of content that it independently contributes to the Product, including:
company name;
logo;
brand assets;
photographs;
copy;
proprietary data;
customer information;
original graphics;
other independently owned material.
This includes responsibility for:
final copy;
images;
claims;
product descriptions;
contact information;
analytics;
cookies;
privacy notices;
terms;
accessibility;
legal disclosures;
integrations;
forms;
customer data;
third-party services;
domain configuration;
business-specific regulatory requirements.
The Licensee may not:
represent Caden Holt as its own brand;
imply endorsement;
use Caden Holt branding in advertising;
register confusingly similar names;
use Caden Holt trademarks as part of a product or company identity.
Modification may include:
visual changes;
structural changes;
layout changes;
content replacement;
responsive adjustments;
CMS changes;
interactions;
animation changes;
code changes;
component changes.
However, modifying the Product does not:
transfer ownership of the underlying Product;
create a new unrestricted license;
grant permission to redistribute the modified source;
permit use in a second project;
permit resale as a template.
A modified copy remains subject to the license restrictions that apply to the underlying Licensed Materials.
32. Derivative Works
You may create a derivative End Product for the Permitted Project.
You may not create derivative digital products for redistribution or sale where the derivative substantially incorporates the Product's:
architecture;
visual system;
components;
layouts;
code;
interactions;
template structure;
design system;
other protectable Product materials.
Ordinary changes necessary to create the Permitted Project are expressly allowed.
The restriction concerns turning the Product into a separate redistributable or competitive product.
33. No Marketplace Redistribution
The Licensee may not upload, submit or distribute the Product or a derivative template to:
Framer Marketplace;
Framer Community;
another template marketplace;
design-resource libraries;
component marketplaces;
code repositories;
template subscription services;
competing platforms.
GitHub repositories;
public Figma files;
public Framer remix links;
downloadable resource pages;
public cloud folders;
forum attachments;
community libraries.
This does not prohibit publication of the completed End Product itself.
35. Backup Copies
The Licensee may maintain a reasonable backup copy of the Product solely for:
disaster recovery;
continuity of the Permitted Project;
protection against accidental loss.
A backup copy:
may not be independently used;
may not be transferred;
may not be shared;
may not become a second project;
must remain under the Licensee's control.
A backup is not a second license.
36. Security of Access
The Licensee is responsible for protecting access to:
Framer accounts;
remix links;
download links;
project files;
documentation containing access information.
The Licensee must not intentionally expose private Product-access mechanisms to unauthorised persons.
If a private delivery link has been compromised, the Licensee should contact:
as soon as reasonably possible.
37. Updates to the Product
Caden Holt may release:
bug fixes;
improvements;
compatibility updates;
documentation updates;
design refinements;
new versions.
38. Versions
A new version of the Product may contain:
changed components;
changed layouts;
removed features;
replaced assets;
compatibility changes;
bug fixes;
design improvements.
Unless an update policy says otherwise, an update does not automatically grant a second project license.
Your license remains attached to the original Permitted Project.
39. Support and Product Assistance
Product support is governed by the applicable Sales & Refunds Policy and Product Page.
Support may include:
setup guidance;
explanation of included features;
troubleshooting;
identification of defects;
documentation clarification.
Support does not create an additional license.
Caden Holt's current Framer Community obligations include providing end-user support within a reasonable timeframe and maintaining a valid support email address.
For Product support:
40. Support Does Not Expand the License
Receiving technical assistance does not grant you any additional right to:
duplicate the Product;
use it for another project;
redistribute it;
transfer the original files;
resell components;
create a competing Product.
The Product's intellectual-property rights may include:
copyright;
design rights;
database rights where applicable;
trademark rights;
trade-secret rights;
rights in confidential information;
rights in software;
rights in visual design;
rights in documentation;
other intellectual-property rights.
The Licensee receives only the rights expressly stated in this License.
42. No Implied Rights
No right is granted by implication, estoppel or otherwise.
In particular, the Licensee does not receive the right to:
sublicense;
assign;
resell;
redistribute;
create competing products;
create template libraries;
use the Product for multiple projects;
remove ownership notices;
use Caden Holt branding;
transfer the Product independently.
A right exists only where this License expressly grants it or applicable law requires it.
43. Third-Party Rights
Nothing in this License transfers ownership of:
Framer;
Framer Community assets;
third-party components;
open-source libraries;
fonts;
stock media;
other third-party material.
Caden Holt is responsible for the Product;
Framer is responsible for the Framer Platform under its own terms;
the Licensee must comply with Framer's rules;
disputes concerning the Product are primarily between the Licensee and Caden Holt, subject to applicable law.
You must not use the Product in a manner that:
infringes intellectual-property rights;
violates privacy rights;
facilitates unlawful conduct;
distributes malicious code;
violates consumer-protection law;
breaches sanctions or other applicable restrictions;
violates Framer's platform rules;
violates third-party licenses.
This License does not authorise conduct that is otherwise unlawful.
47. No Legal, Regulatory or Professional Warranty
The Product is a design and implementation asset.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Product does not constitute:
legal advice;
tax advice;
accounting advice;
regulatory advice;
accessibility certification;
cybersecurity certification;
SEO consultancy;
marketing consultancy;
compliance certification.
A Product may include pages or structures labelled:
Privacy;
Terms;
Cookies;
Legal;
Accessibility;
This includes responsibility for:
determining the controller;
identifying processors;
choosing lawful processing purposes;
configuring consent where required;
providing privacy notices;
implementing required cookie controls;
respecting data-subject rights;
securing collected information;
complying with applicable data-protection law.
The Licensee is responsible for:
securing its own Framer account;
maintaining its own credentials;
reviewing third-party integrations;
configuring forms appropriately;
securing customer data;
maintaining appropriate third-party services;
monitoring changes to dependencies.
The Licensee remains responsible for:
final content;
contrast;
alt text;
headings;
form labelling;
keyboard behaviour;
dynamic interactions;
third-party integrations;
other implementation-specific accessibility requirements.
52. SEO
Where a Product is described as SEO-ready or SEO-structured, that description relates to the Product's implemented structure.
It does not guarantee:
search-engine rankings;
indexing;
traffic;
backlinks;
organic visibility;
conversions;
search placement.
Such a transfer:
applies to the completed End Product;
does not transfer ownership of the underlying Product;
does not create additional template licenses;
does not permit the client to reuse the template for another project;
does not permit the client to redistribute the source Product;
remains subject to the single-use restriction.
55. Evidence of License
The following may be used as evidence of the applicable license:
purchase confirmation;
order ID;
transaction record;
purchaser account;
email address used for purchase;
Product version;
checkout record;
license record maintained by the applicable sales platform.
The Licensee should retain the purchase confirmation for its records.
56. Fraudulent or Unauthorised Use
Caden Holt may investigate suspected:
unauthorised redistribution;
duplicate use;
license circumvention;
fraudulent purchases;
public sharing;
marketplace redistribution;
counterfeit listings;
commercial exploitation outside the permitted project.
The Licensee must cooperate reasonably with a legitimate inquiry concerning the License.
57. Material Breach
A material breach may include:
unauthorised redistribution;
resale;
sublicensing;
use in multiple projects;
creation of a competing Product;
public distribution;
deliberate infringement;
removal of required rights notices;
repeated refusal to comply with applicable third-party terms.
Where a material breach occurs, Caden Holt may:
request that the breach be cured;
suspend Product support;
require cessation of unauthorised use;
require deletion of unlawfully retained copies;
terminate the License;
pursue other lawful remedies.
Where the breach is capable of cure, Caden Holt may provide a reasonable opportunity to cure before termination unless immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect intellectual-property rights, security, legal rights or third parties.
58. Termination
This License remains effective for the Permitted Project unless:
the License is terminated under these Terms;
the purchase is refunded and the applicable transaction is unwound;
the Product is used in material breach;
mandatory law requires otherwise.
The Licensee should then:
cease use of the Product;
cease use of the Product's source materials;
stop distributing the Product;
remove unauthorised copies;
retain only information that must legally be retained.
The relationship between refunds and the transaction itself is governed by the Sales & Refunds Policy.
For Polar transactions, applicable Polar refund procedures also apply.
60. Survival
The provisions concerning:
intellectual-property ownership;
prohibited uses;
confidentiality where applicable;
limitations of liability;
dispute resolution;
governing law;
accrued rights;
evidence;
interpretation;
survive termination to the extent necessary to give them effect.
61. Intellectual-Property Infringement Reports
Caden Holt wants legitimate intellectual-property concerns to be resolved directly and efficiently wherever possible.
If you believe that:
the Product infringes your intellectual-property rights;
an included asset infringes your rights;
an image or other material is being distributed without permission;
a Product component violates a licence;
Caden Holt's Product incorrectly uses your trademark or copyrighted material;
please contact:
Please include:
your name;
organisation, if applicable;
contact information;
the relevant Product;
the relevant URL or file;
the allegedly infringing material;
the nature of the claimed right;
an explanation of the issue;
supporting evidence where available.
Where an allegation concerns a Third-Party Material rather than an original Caden Holt asset, Caden Holt may investigate:
the source;
the applicable license;
the permissions available;
the way the material was incorporated;
whether replacement is appropriate.
Where appropriate, Caden Holt may replace or remove the relevant material from future Product versions.
This does not create an admission of liability merely because a report was received.
63. No Circumvention
You must not attempt to circumvent:
licensing restrictions;
purchase requirements;
access controls;
private distribution links;
technical protections;
Framer's mechanisms;
third-party access controls.
This includes attempting to:
remove license restrictions;
extract paid assets;
defeat access controls;
evade attribution obligations;
redistribute restricted materials.
Documentation may be updated for:
corrections;
clarification;
platform changes;
compatibility changes;
improved instructions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, documentation does not grant rights beyond those contained in this License.
67. No Agency or Partnership
Purchasing or using the Product does not create:
employment;
agency;
partnership;
joint venture;
franchise;
representation relationship;
between the Licensee and Caden Holt.
A customer may truthfully state that a website was built using a Caden Holt Product but must not imply that Caden Holt endorses, operates or is legally affiliated with the resulting business unless agreed separately.
68. Availability of the Product
Caden Holt may:
update the Product;
discontinue new sales;
replace components;
change documentation;
alter the Product Page;
replace third-party assets;
change the supported environment.
Discontinuation of new sales does not by itself terminate the rights of an existing lawful Licensee to continue using the Product within the Permitted Project, subject to:
the continuing license;
applicable third-party rights;
Framer platform availability;
applicable law;
material license breach.
69. Third-Party Platform Changes
Where the Product depends upon Framer or another third-party platform, that platform may change independently of Caden Holt.
Examples include:
changed features;
changed APIs;
changed pricing;
changed plan requirements;
discontinued features;
interface changes;
changed publishing rules;
security changes;
technical restrictions.
Caden Holt does not guarantee compatibility with every future version of a third-party platform unless expressly promised.
Where consumer law creates a mandatory conformity or update obligation, that obligation remains unaffected.
70. Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Product is provided as a digital design asset and is not warranted to remain:
unchanged;
permanently available;
compatible with every future platform version;
compatible with every third-party service;
suitable for every business;
free of every error.
Such losses may include:
lost profits;
lost revenue;
lost business opportunity;
loss of goodwill;
loss of anticipated savings;
business interruption.
Nothing in this License:
removes mandatory conformity rights;
eliminates a legally available withdrawal right;
removes statutory remedies;
limits a mandatory warranty;
restricts a legally protected consumer complaint;
deprives a consumer of rights that cannot legally be waived.
EU digital-content law establishes mandatory conformity and remedy rules for consumer transactions, and Greece has implemented those rules through its national legislation.
73. Business Buyers
Where the Licensee purchases for a trade, business, craft or professional purpose, consumer-specific provisions may not apply.
The Business Buyer's rights are determined by:
this License;
the applicable Sales & Refunds Policy;
the Product Page;
the purchase record;
applicable third-party terms;
mandatory law.
This License is governed by the laws of Greece, subject to:
mandatory European Union law;
mandatory consumer-protection rules;
mandatory provisions applicable to the Licensee's jurisdiction;
applicable conflict-of-laws rules.
Where the circumstances permit, Caden Holt will seek to determine whether the issue can be resolved through:
clarification;
correction;
replacement;
removal;
licence adjustment;
other commercially reasonable resolution.
This voluntary process does not waive:
limitation periods;
injunctive rights;
statutory remedies;
consumer rights;
rights to seek urgent relief.
78. Changes to this License
Caden Holt may update this License to reflect:
changes in law;
changes in the Product;
changes in Framer's platform;
changes in third-party dependencies;
changes in distribution channels;
additional Product types;
corrections;
clarification of existing provisions.
Product Page;
purchase record;
Product documentation;
Sales & Refunds Policy;
applicable third-party licenses;
applicable Framer terms;
constitutes the framework governing the Licensee's right to use the Product.
Where there is a conflict:
mandatory applicable law;
mandatory consumer rights;
the applicable transaction terms of the Merchant of Record or marketplace, to the extent governing that transaction;
the specific Product Page or purchase terms concerning what was actually sold;
an express product-specific license;
this License;
supporting Product documentation.
For Third-Party Materials, the applicable third-party license controls the rights in that third-party material to the extent of a conflict.
For the Framer platform, Framer's applicable platform and Community terms control the use of Framer itself.
